Role overview

The British Council works in Vietnam and around the world and one of its focuses is on society development as well as climate change education, youth development, UK Alumni activities and school partnership work. 

If you join this team as a Society and Development Officer your main duties will include:

  • Assisting with logistical arrangements and events organisation for Social enterprise development programme, Connecting classroom project and other projects such as Youth Leadership Development, UK Alumni Association programmes, etc.
  • Information management and record-keeping
  • Working with customers and external stakeholders
  • Administrative and financial support for projects in the society and development sectors 

Suitable applicants for this post will have at least three years of experience in a relevant field as well as a degree-level education. Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese are required and so are basic project management skills.
