British Council
Creative and cultural industries have become familiar concepts today in Vietnam in part due to the British Council’s efforts to raise awareness among the government and provide support to artists.

Music composer Quoc Trung crossed path with the British Council in 2013 when he was searching and building Monsoon – the only annual international high-quality music festival in Vietnam.
Australian–Vietnamese artist and businessman Thanh Bui and the SMPAA and Trinh Cong Son’s Scholarship Foundation he co-founded have engaged in a strong partnership with the British Council.
Thao won the British Council’s Young Creative Entrepreneur in Design/ Fashion Award in 2014 and the bond between her and the British Council has also flourished.
Through networking efforts and sponsorship from the British Council, Dr Hoan was invited to the WOW Summit as a representative of Vietnam.
