Role overview
The British Council is recruiting for Accounting Assistant, to provide a range of agreed financial services to the Customers Management team supporting the Teaching Centre and Exams business in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Please note that due to restricted work permit requirements, only Vietnamese nationals will be considered for this role.
Purpose of Job:
To provide a range of agreed financial services to Customers Management team in accordance with Corporate Standards, local rules and regulations. Being the OS of Hanoi City office in SAP.
Context and Environment:
The incumbent will work in Customer Management team of the Teaching Centres and work with Finance Team, which are very dynamic teams of the British Council in Vietnam, providing high standard business support services to the British Council’s Teaching Centre and Exams, in coordination with Customer Management colleagues in its centres, as well as country finance colleagues.
Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
- Cashier duties
- Accounting Payable
- Banking and Debts Management
- Accounting and Admin support
- Personal and Professional development.
Ideally, you will have minimum one year practical working experience in cash duties, accounting, customer services finance for multi-national organisation(s) or banks, with proven experience in cash management and banking related works and accounting following VAS and Vietnam Tax policies/standards/practice.
