Role overview
Manage the full range of business services in this newly created job as Business Support Services Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Business Support Services Manager will be responsible for supporting human resources (HR), IT, administration and facilities within the British Council, which has over 100 staff in HCMC and operates globally as the UK’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations.
Key responsibilities for the Business Support Services Manager will include:
- Overseeing delivery of facilities management services and maintaining a high-quality working and learning environment
- Administration management; ensuring contracts, management information and other administration is carried out correctly
- Budget monitoring and forecasting for the HCMC operations
- Business risk management
- Human Resources (HR) management, including managing daily HR duties, issue resolution, recruitment and payroll.
The successful applicant for this vacancy will require strong people management skills, crossing over multiple teams, as well as previous experience of at least five years, covering the relevant business areas.
