WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

You will provide a professional compliant procurement process to the country to achieve value for money and satisfaction to British Council by giving guidance and expertise on indirect categories such as travel, overheads and facilities management, IT/Telecoms, marketing and media, professional services and HR service. You will identify and promote ways for SBUs to manage demand, given that this may involve changes in current practices that go beyond procurement.

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT

As the procurement lead in the country, you will contribute to the development of strategic procurement for the British Council for the country to maximize efficiency and ensure compliance with global procurement policies and processes. You will promote cross country procurement activities and ensure consideration of collaboration of opportunities is undertaken on regional large-scale procurement work.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be considered successful, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business, economics or relevant with at least five to seven years in procurement function preferably in indirect categories. Travel within region are require occasionally.
