New teaching centre at 10 Tran Phu, Ha Dong

The British Council is about to open a new teaching centre with eight classrooms for children (from 6 to 17 years old) at 10 Tran Phu, Ha Dong district, Hanoi. During the launch period, the British Council offers a variety of appealing incentives and free opportunities to participate in interactive activities and events at the new venue. Parents who are interested in participating are welcome to sign up. 

We believe that this new centre will provide parents and students with more options for a convenient study location that meets the time and living area requirements of students.

Courses offered at the new centre

English for Primary Plus (for students aged 6 – 10)

The British Council's Primary Plus English courses are themed and interactive, and are designed to help primary school students (grades 1–5) develop project-based teamwork, English and life skills. Teachers provide challenges in which students learn to express themselves and discuss ideas. The course will comprehensively develop the four English skills and soft skills required for the twenty-first century.

English for Secondary School (for students aged 11 – 14)

The British Council's Secondary Plus English course for students in grades 6 to 9 helps students develop the English skills needed to communicate confidently in a globalized world while also succeeding in international exams and learning environments. Students in this course practise practical skills and test-taking strategies through small projects, presentations, and research under the supervision of teachers.

IELTS and Academic High School English (for students aged 15 – 17)

The Academic Secondary Plus English Program and IELTS is a non-traditional learning program with a diverse curriculum based on real-world topics to help students prepare for the future global environment. Students will be exposed to exhilarating lessons on real-world topics, preparing them to succeed in their future study and work environments.

Steps to register for classes and receive special offers for new students

  1. Fill out the registration form to schedule a consultation and a test.
  2. Finish the proficiency test by allotting 25 minutes to the writing section and 10-15 minutes to the speaking section
  3. Get specific advice on classes that are appropriate for your level and the corresponding schedule.
  4. Pay fees for the entire course
