Connect the Dots job fair was first held in 2013 by British Council and the UK Alumni Association in Vietnam aiming to connect Vietnamese UK graduates with big firms and help boost their career success.
This year, the event expects to receive more than 1,000 UK alumni, graduates and undergraduates. Around 200 seats will be available for graduates from Vietnam and other countries who meet the minimum requirements.
The event is a proof of the United Kingdom and British Council’s efforts to support international students not only while they are in the U.K. but also when they return to Vietnam.
The event includes two parts: workshops and job fair.
Workshop 1
13.15 – 15.15: Job opportunities with big recruiters: Standard Chartered Bank, Vingroup, Prudential and VED.
Topic is about job opportunities, benefits for staff and career development in each company.
Workshop 2
14.00 – 15.30: Updates on job market in Vietnam, opportunities for candidates during this period of time and sharing on how to find a job. The workshop will be maily for question and answer.
Job fair
15.30 – 18.00: There are more than 20 big recruiters in Vietnam attending this job fair in many sectors: banking and finance, counselling, airlines, technology, marketing, insurance, accounting, hospitality, etc.
Registration is on first come first served basis due to limited spaces so hurry up and register by 15 August 2016.
