Tettenhall College (a boarding school) offers the scholarships of up to 50% full fees (covering tuition fee, boarding cost and tutoring…) for the September 2014 intake.
Founded in 1863, Tettenhall College is one of the leading traditional non-profit boarding schools in the UK with standard teaching methods and pastoral care.
Tettenhall College stands in 33 acres of beautiful woodland and grounds, which is nearby to Birmingham city and only two-hour away from London by train. Much investment have been used to improve the College’s academic and sport facilities, such as science laboratories, heated indoor swimming pool, well - equipped sports pavilion and theater…to ensure that the modern facilities are consistent with the delivery of a top quality education.
At Tettenhall College, about 89% of pupils are British and the class size is limited from 5 to 8 students to ensure individual and pastoral care to each pupil. The College offers English, GCSE and Alevel courses to boys and girls in many areas: Economics, Business, Maths, Biology, Engineering, Law, Art, Education, Medicine, Architecture...
In 2013, 97% of Tettenhall students pass the A Level with 50% gets grades A* - B and 100% of GCSE students pass the exam, of which 55% gets grades A* - B. Many students get the offers from leading universities across the country, including Oxford and Cambridge, UCL, LSE... In 2012, Ha Quang Thinh, one of Tettenhal students got the offer from Cambridge University.
