Research Conference: Impacts of Climate Change and the Environment on Health takes place on Thursday 30 November 2023, from 14.30–17.30 (Ha Noi), 7.30–10.30 (London) at Sunwah Center. Academics in the UK and Viet Nam from a wide range of disciplines, and experts from the industries will come together to present their current research. This will cover a range of topics including:
- Climate change, pollution and the environment
- Health technologies for assessment of physical activity and sleep
- The interface between art and science in studying climate change and the environment
- Financial, equality and human rights issues in climate change and health
This will be followed by a round table discussion to look at how different disciplines may work together (1) to improve our understanding of the multifactorial issues surrounding climate change, and (2) to study solutions which may minimise the impact of climate change and the environment on health.
This will be a hybrid conference where participants may attend the event physically in Hanoi or virtually through a meeting link.
