Students, academics and institutions will be brought together to explore ways to balance Viet Nam growing energy needs with the country’s net zero aspirations and COP26 commitments.
This three-part programme will take place in C2 Conference Hall, Hanoi University of Science and Technology from 2 December to 6 December, to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset, that will use existing UK-VN innovation networks to creatively explore new educational links between research and business.
1. Hackscience – 'Climate Change Challenge for Young Innovators: Embracing the Circular Economy': Join us for a groundbreaking two-day journey where young minds converge to tackle the pressing challenges of climate change through ideas for a more sustainable circular economy. Over the course of two days (12 intensive hours a day), we invite passionate changemakers to ideate, collaborate, and innovate for a sustainable future:

2. Train the Trainer – ‘Boosting creative entrepreneurship through the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Network’: This workshop will encourage participants to develop a Theory of Change frame which to develop a framework to support students in innovative entrepreneurship. Instead of being taught to reiterate what was learned, students may learn to develop their ability to find a multitude of solutions to a problem (i.e. divergent thinking):

3. Think Tank – 'Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Sustainable development in Higher Education': The Think tank will take the form of a round-table discussions/mini-symposium. Participants will be invited from relevant industry, policy, government, and Higher Education to share current practice, opportunities, and aspirations for the future as well as current challenges. There will be the students' Climate Change Challenge Showcase & networking in the afternoon:
