In the lead up to COP26 in Glasgow in November 2021, the British Council, in partnership with Fashion Revolution, will work with and support our partners Fashion Revolution to deliver Fashion Open Studio International which will showcase six to ten emerging designers from ODA countries who are exploring and championing sustainable design in their work.
This international open studio programme will celebrate the diversity of practices and processes behind sustainable fashion around the world and the programme will include both digital and physical showcasing, using the medium of fashion to engage in a global dialogue that directly responds to the themes & strategies explored within the COP26 summit.
The output will include contributions from architecture, design and fashion sector experts in the UK and sector experts across all ODA regions, with a focus on voices under the age of 35. We are currently planning to showcase these young fashion designers at COP 26.
