Established in 1987, IH Bristol's two centres are located in Clifton – one of Bristol’s most popular and elegant areas, which is also home to Bristol University.
The school has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is fully equipped with comfortable seating, interactive whiteboards, computers and free wi-fi access. Both centres have a students’ room and large private gardens – ideal for summer barbecues, parties and outdoor activities, so everyone gets to know each other from their first day.
IH Bristol has capacity for over 100 students, spread across nine classrooms, so as well as offering programmes for individuals, the school can also accommodate groups throughout the year.
All students can use free study room. It’s available every afternoon after classes from Monday to Thursday and includes a tutor on hand to guide students.
E-learning/Self study
All students can use e-learning programme from the time they enrol with IH Bristol until three months after the end of their course. This blended course helps students to make greater progress and to track their improvements while they are studying. The extensive online materials can help with general, intensive, one-to-one and exam courses and allow every student to make the most of their time at IH Bristol.
Free exercises
Available via website and phone app, there are hundreds of free exercises to practise grammar, vocabulary and use of phrases, or answer questions as they will be presented in the Cambridge ESOL exams.
Exams
If students are interested in taking an exam, IH Bristol is an official Cambridge, IELTS and Trinity exam centre, so students can take exam here at IH Bristol.
