Preparing for future natural hazards is a key global concern, so this project seeks to establish a secure collaborative disaster management network that will focus on assessing and preparing for possible climate-based outcomes.
Local stakeholders are invited to take part alongside participants from the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Bangor University in a knowledge-sharing workshop that will engage the wider community and explore possible capacity-building activities and opportunities to strengthen the network.
A training course open to researchers from engineering, medical, social, and natural science backgrounds across industry, academia, government and relevant NGOs will also be offered as part of the programme.
