British Council

The British Council in Vietnam, in partnership with Vietnam's Creative Hubs Initiative, proudly presents #CultureConnects, an online learning portal and a series of public seminars focusing on culture and creativity.

#CultureConnects offers free online courses and seminars for arts managers, managers of cultural and creative hubs, and independent artists and creative practitioners. These courses have been developed by cultural experts and creative professionals with the aim to pass on useful knowledge and practical skills to Vietnam’s next generation of culture keepers.

Registration for this online learning portal is currently open and online courses will be launched this June 2020 at https://bit.ly/36hUsbL. Kindly note that we are currently testing the Vietnamese version of this online learning portal. English version will be coming up soon.

This online learning portal and public seminars will also provide another platform for the network of creative hubs across Vietnam in the light of Covid-19. Read more about the British Council Arts’ response to Covid-19.

The activity is under Cultural and Creative Vietnam, a three-year project co-funded by the European Union and the British Council, and implemented by the British Council, in partnership with the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) between 2018 and 2021. The project goal is to strengthen the role and capacity of these cultural and creative hubs in promoting freedom of artistic expression and creativity, and the rights of Vietnamese people to take part in cultural life.
