Going Global is the British Council’s flagship conference for leaders in international education to debate the future of further and higher education.
Going Global 2019 will be organised between 13-15 May 2019 in Berlin, Germany, and we are now calling for speakers who are higher education leaders to submit proposals to present at Going Global.
The main theme for Going Global 2019 is ‘Knowledge diplomacy and the digital world: does international tertiary education have a role?’
The conference will debate the role of international tertiary education in this new paradigm, focusing through a policy or practice lens, on four roles:
- global knowledge producer
- high level skills developer
- global society anchor and solution provider
- leader and partner in a future world
You are advised to refer to the below proposal guidelines for information on session formats, types of proposal, assessment criteria for proposals, etc., and the eight critical questions to consider before submitting a Going Global speaker proposal.
